Hotels are of a fair standard throughout Nigeria, but they're expensive.
Lagos is particularly expensive; rooms are either very cheap and shoddy or very expens-
ive - there's not much middle ground.
Watch and listen for the ubiquitous power cuts and the sound of generators striking up.
