Broad St and Campbell St in Lagos Island are good for chophouses and suya (Nigerian
kebab); the better restaurants are in Ikoyi and Victoria Island. Some of the best places to
eat are attached to hotels and cultural centres, such as Bogobiri, Terra Kulture and Purple at

Ikoyi Hotel Suya AFRICAN $

town can be found at the stall outside the Ikoyi Hotel. Not just beef and goat, but chicken,
liver and kidney, plus some great fiery pepe (pepper) to spice it all up.

cooks and waitresses are all Thai, and offer you a broad menu of fragrantly spiced dishes.
Portions are very generous, and if you can't finish your meal, they're used to sending
people home with a doggie bag.

it also serves up proper meals throughout the day. Breakfasts of pancakes or bacon are
good, as are the pizzas, and the club sandwiches with salad and chips are simply huge -
excellent value at N1800.
