Getting There & Around
Flights arrive at
Roberts International Airport
(ROB; Robertsfield)
, 60km southeast of Monrovia,
from where a taxi into the city costs around US$70. There is also the smaller Spriggs
Payne Airport (MLW) in Sinkor.
Bush taxis for Robertsport and the Sierra Leone border leave from Duala Motor Park,
9km northeast of the town centre. Transport for most other domestic destinations leaves
from the Red Light Motor Park, Monrovia's main motor park, 15km northeast of the
centre. Nearby Guinea Motor Park has buses heading to Guinea and Côte d'Ivoire.
