grounds, this two-storey guesthouse is the cheapest budget option in central Kumasi. The
building and staff are rather austere and the bathrooms are only just clean. There's an on-

behind the National Cultural Centre is a great midrange option, with friendly welcome,

block from the STC station, the rooms here are clean and comfortable. The place doesn't
have much soul, but for the price and location it's as good as it gets in Kumasi.

enormous air-conditioned rooms is decorated in a different style and there's a TV lounge
and a tropical garden.
Chris and Charity are wonderful, knowledgeable hosts and can help you organise all
manner of tours, including tip-top market tours with their local guide and excursions
around Kumasi (C60 per person per day plus fuel). Prices include breakfast but exclude
the 15% VAT.
