Banjul International Airport (BLJ; 4473117) is at Yundum, 24km from Banjul city centre and

Ferries OFFLINE MAP GOOGLE MAP ( 4228205; Liberation St; passengers D15, cars
D200-300) travel between Banjul and Barra, on the northern bank of the Gambia River. They
are supposed to run every one to two hours from 7am to 9pm and take one hour, though
delays and cancellations are frequent.
Gelli-gellis (minibuses) and shared taxis to Bakau (D12) and Serekunda (D15) leave
from their respective taxi ranks near the National Museum. Note that you might have to
pay a bit more for luggage. A private taxi to the coastal resorts will cost D200 to D400.
Getting Around

A tourist taxi from Banjul International Airport to Banjul costs around D300 to D400.
There is no airport bus.
SHARED TAXI
A short ride across Banjul city centre (known as a 'town trip') in a private taxi costs about
D30 to D60.
