Getting There & Away
TACV ( 2511186) has three weekly flights to Praia (one hour) and three weekly to Sal (15
minutes). Irregular ferries sail to/from Boa Vista, Praia and Sal, but they are so sporadic
you may lose many days waiting for one. Aluguers (from CVE200) ply the island's roads,
but they're scarce. Taxis are readily available; the short hop from the airport to town costs
CVE500.
