Banfora is a sleepy town in one of the most beautiful areas in Burkina Faso. It has delight-

lush surrounding countryside. The town itself has a lively Sunday market , with plenty of

comforts and impeccable cleanliness. The huts are arranged around a beautiful garden. It's
about 1km outside of town on the road to Bobo.

Le Calypso EUROPEAN, AFRICAN $$

jovial Franco-Burkinabé family as Le Calypso hotel, this popular restaurant is a wonderful
place for tasty slow-cooked fish, marinated steak and pizzas. The homemade juices are
highly recommended.
McDonald BURGERS $$
(off Rue de la Préfecture; mains CFA1500-3000; 11am-10pm Thu-Tue) This cool den off the main drag
boasts an inviting covered terrace. It churns out a good range of satisfying dishes, includ-
ing its famous hamburger frites (burger with fries).
