This villa-style eatery, with its African decor and riot of fairy lights, serves French fare
with an African twist. House faves include frogs' legs and a great grill selection (kebabs,
steak, Nile perch etc). Service is stellar.

dress is wrapped around an exotic garden and art gallery. The restaurant serves delicious
spiced-up French cuisine; it also has one of the finest wine cellars in Burkina. All this
class comes at a price: expect to pay an eye-watering CFA15,000 to CFA20,000 per per-
son.
Drinking & Entertainment
Drinking in Bobo goes hand in hand with music, whether live or in the form of dancing.
Admission (CFA500) is sometimes charged for live-music events. There is dancing at
most maquis on Friday and Saturday nights, and from 4pm onwards on Sundays (known
as matinée ).
Le Samanké LIVE MUSIC
(Koko; 10am-late) Bobo's best live-music venue, with an excellent sound system, a big
stage, a fab garden and a fantastic program of Burkinabé and African artists (music mostly
but also dance and theatre).
Tharkay CLUB
(Koko; 11am-late) Come and shake your stuff to coupé-décalé (Ivorian beats) and other
Afro-beats at the funky Tharkay. The Sunday matinée is particularly popular.
Les Bambous LIVE MUSIC

with concerts every night. It also serves excellent pizzas (CFA3000 to CFA4000).
