Burkina Faso
From Tanguiéta in north western Benin, you can find bush taxis to Nadiagou, on the Burk-
ina side of the border north or Porga, from where you can find services to Ouagadougou.
There's also a daily bus from Tanguiéta to Ouagadougou.

times a week between Cotonou and Bobo Dioulasso via Ouagadougou (CFA18,000, 18
hours).

Niger
From Malanville in northeastern Benin, a zemi-john or shared taxi can take you across the
Niger River to Gaya in Niger .

has daily services to Niamey (CFA22,000, 18 hours).

Nigeria
ABC Transport ( 66 56 45 15; Stade de l'Amitié) and Cross Country International OFFLINE MAP
GOOGLE MAP ( 66 99 92 41; Ave du Nouveau Pont) both operate a daily Lagos-Accra bus
service, which stops in Cotonou (CFA11,000 to CFA12,500, four hours). Add another
CFA5000 for the convoyeur (the middleman who'll handle and facilitate formalities at the
border).
There are no direct taxis to Lagos from Porto Novo, so you'll have to change at the
Kraké-Seme border (CFA800, 30 minutes). Make sure you have some naira to pay for
your journey on the other side.

Togo
Cotonou and Lomé are connected by frequent bush taxis (CFA5000, three hours), which
regularly leave the Gare Jonquet in Cotonou for Lomé. Alternatively, pick up a taxi to the
border point at Hilakondji and grab another taxi on the Togolese side of the border.
