Benin has accommodation to suit every budget - from beach resorts to guesthouses.
Swanky hotels are confined to Cotonou and, to a lesser extent, Ouidah and Natitingou.

In towns and cities, complimentary wi-fi is available in almost every midrange and top-end
hotel.
Internet cafes are plentiful in towns and cities. Rates are CFA300 per hour. Connection
speeds vary from pretty good to acceptable.
MONEY
The currency in Benin is the West African CFA franc.
The best foreign currency to carry is euros, easily exchanged at any bank, hotel or bureau
de change.
