Appendix B: Map Resources
U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) topo maps are accurate but often lack trails. I like Green Trails
maps—three cover the Santa Catalina Mountains, Santa Rita Mountains, and Saguaro area—and
National Geographic 's Saguaro National Park maps, which are based on USGS topographical
information and show hiking trails as well. The U.S. Forest Service map of Pusch Ridge is also
useful.
The stores in Appendix A and the visitor centers listed for hikes in Saguaro National Park,
Sabino Canyon, and Catalina State Park sell all of the above; you can also buy them at the
sources below.
