FACILITIES: None except for parking (about 10 or 14 cars at west or east end; no RVs or trailers)

COMMENTS: This relatively flat desert trail is popular, but not crowded, with mountain bikers,
many of whom know it well and are a good source of information. Horses are permitted but rarely
seen. Dogs are prohibited, but that rule is frequently ignored. This is a good hike from fall to spring,
but it gets darned hot in the long Sonoran summer. Bring plenty of water—there is none available
anywhere.
