From I-10, take Exit 248/Ina Road and head east. After 6.8 miles, Ina becomes
Skyline Drive and, almost 2 miles farther, becomes Sunrise Drive. Follow Sunrise
about 6 miles to Kolb Road and turn left (north). Follow Kolb Road about 1.25 miles,
passing the entrance to Loews Ventana Canyon Resort on your right and then tak-
ing the next right onto Resort Drive. Drive 0.1 mile to the employee parking lot on
your left, and then drive through this lot to the fenced-off area designated for trailhead
parking.
From most parts of Tucson, drive east to Kolb Road and turn left (north) on Kolb
to its intersection with Tanque Verde Road. Turn right (east) on Tanque Verde, drive
0.6 mile, and then turn left (north) on Sabino Canyon Road. After 2.25 miles, Sabino
Canyon becomes Kolb Road, which you follow north for just over 2 miles to Sun-
rise Drive. Keep going north on Kolb another 1.25 miles, and continue as described
above.
