Overview
The hike to Maiden Pools offers exceptional views of Ventana Canyon and is a fairly
popular picnic destination. Above the pools, a less-traveled trail ascends through
thriving woodlands to a ridge with views of Mount Lemmon and other landmarks.
Keep going to a natural rock window, which makes for a satisfying destination and
provides unusual photo ops.
