COMMENTS:
Horses allowed but rarely encountered. Dogs must be leashed at all times. If the
parking area is full (most summer weekends), look for spaces along the road to the trailhead or in
several small lots adjoining picnic areas along the last 0.5 mile of the road. The trail may be closed
by snow in the winter.
