Mount Lemmon Road (but which the U.S. Forest Service calls General Hitchcock
Highway), a Sky Island Scenic Byway. Follow the highway almost 3 more miles to
the Babad Do'ag scenic vista and parking area, on your right. Note that there are no
gas stations on Catalina Highway or Mount Lemmon Road.
From I-10, coming from the southeast, take Exit 270/Kolb Road and follow it
north for 10.5 miles to Tanque Verde Road. Turn right, drive 3.5 miles, and turn left
on Catalina Highway.
From I-10, coming from the northwest, take Exit 256/Grant Road and head east.
After 8.5 miles, turn left on Tanque Verde Road and drive 3.5 miles to Catalina High-
way.
