Winter Solstice Festival
Called Dong Zhi in Mandarin and Tang Chek in Hokkien, this Chinese festival offers
thanks for a good harvest and usually occurs between 21 and 23 December. It's celebrated
by eating glutinous rice balls served in a clear sugar syrup.
