If you need a guide or assistance getting around, many local agencies offer various tours of the city and attractions around
KL.
KL Hop-On Hop-Off ( 2166 6162; www.myhoponhopoff.com ; adult/child 24hr RM38/17, 48hr RM65/29;
8.30am-8.30pm) This double-decker, wi-fi-enabled, air-con tourist bus makes a circuit of the main tourist sites half-
hourly throughout the day. Stops include KLCC, Jln Bukit Bintang, Menara KL, Chinatown, Merdeka Square and the at-
tractions of Lake Gardens. Tickets, which can be bought on the bus, last all day and you can get on and off as often as you
like.
Going Places Tours ( 2078 4008; www.goingplaces-kl.com ; Original Backpackers Inn, 60a Jln Sultan, Chinatown)
Offers tours tailored to the backpacker market, including more adventurous options such as rafting, caving and rock-
climbing adventures.
Tour 51 Malaysia ( 2161 8830) Runs a decent selection of half-day city tours (RM60) and day trips to places such as
Putrajaya, Kuala Selangor and Pulau Ketam (RM150 to RM190). Can be booked via Malaysian Travel Business (
2163 0162; MTC, 109 Jln Ampang), an agency with desks at the Malaysian Tourist Centre.
Travel Han ( 2031 0899; www.han-travel.com ; Kompleks Selangor, Jln Sultan) One of the many agents offering
tours to Taman Negara National Park in the north of Peninsular Malaysia, which is a 4343-sq-km reserve protecting one
of the world's oldest tropical rainforests. Three-day, two-night packages from KL start from RM160 per person.
