Pocket-sized, retro-themed bar that draws a largely local
following, despite being close to the backpacker strip. There's a classic-rock soundtrack
and a short menu of Western-style comfort dishes (RM14.90 to RM18.90).

UPPER JLN PENANG BARS

This strip of road at the far northern end of Jln Penang is George
Town's rather commercial-feeling entertainment strip. There's a row of about 10 open-air
and air-con bars, but most flock to the megaclubs: Slippery Senoritas offers live-music
shows that are as corny as the bar's name suggests, although it's popular and all in good
fun; while Voodoo offers much of the same in a slightly more sophisticated package.
