Motorcycle
You can hire motorcycles from many places, including guesthouses and
shops along Lebuh Chulia or out at Batu Ferringhi. Manual bikes start at about RM20 and
automatic ones about RM30, for 24 hours.

Taxi
Penang's taxis have meters, which drivers refuse to use, so negotiate the fare be-
fore you set off. Typical fares to places outside of the city centre start at around RM12.
Taxis can be found on Jln Penang, near the Cititel Hotel, at the Weld Quay Bus Terminal
and near Komtar Bus Station.

Trishaw
A touristy, fun way to negotiate George Town's backstreets. Around RM40
per hour, but agree on the fare before departure.
