This weekly market is
a not only a good place to pick up fresh fruit, veg and fish, but also a top-class hawker
food-grazing zone. There are stalls selling a variety of noodles such as
asam laksa
(a ver-
sion of laksa that has a prawn paste and tamarind-flavoured gravy),
cheo cheong fun
(rice
noodles) or
kway teow
(wide rice noodles stir-fried with prawns, cockles, bean sprouts and
egg). Also look for the satay stall where you can sample regular bits of fowl and mutton
alongside the more challenging 'bishops nose' (ie chicken bum).

court facing the Bangsar Village II mall. The tray curries are excellent, with plenty of fish,
prawns and other seafood. You can get
