SELANGOR TURF CLUB & BUKIT JALIL NATIONAL STADIUM
Attend the sport of kings at Selangor Turf Club ( 9058 3888; www.selangorturfclub.com ; Sungei Besi; ad-
mission RM6), a KL institution dating back to 1896 and originally sited where KLCC is now. The grandstand
holds up to 25,000 fans and on race days there's a free shuttle bus from Serdang Komuter Train Station and Sun-
gai Besi LRT Station.
Bukit Jalil National Stadium ( 8992 0888; www.stadium.gov.my ; National Sports Complex, Sri Petaling;
Bukit Jalil), 16km south of the city centre, is a 100,000-seater venue that's at the heart of the sporting com-
plex built to host the 1998 Commonwealth Games. Soccer matches are often held here, including international
games and the Malaysian FA cup final. It's also used for concerts by major local and international pop stars.
