Although
they've used recycled wood palettes - the cheap decorative material of choice for several
KL hostelries - other parts of this Peruvian Pisco bar show some imagination, such as the
bare-brick walls hung with movie-themed art. A young Paul Newman is handsome com-
pany while sinking your drink and nibbling on snacks including
cebiche
(a salad of marin-
ated raw fish).

QEII puffing on a ciggie is one of several famous faces painted onto
the outside walls of this three-level bar and club. On the ground floor the Industrial
Lounge kitchen and bar is a nice place to relax in comfy leather chairs; mix it up with the
DJ and the glamour crowd at the middle floor, while the rooftop is good for sunset cock-
tails.

Friday is the official 'Frisky' gay night at this chic DJ bar, above the res-
taurant of the same name, but on other nights of the week you'll find a gay-friendly crowd
here, too.

There's fairly good food at this pop-art decorated res-
taurant and bar serving an international menu of dishes, but Circus is best visited for its
cocktail happy hours (4pm to 8pm) and live-music shows on Friday and Saturday around
9pm. Among the artists who regularly perform here is fab drag diva Roz.
