As you can see by comparing the type of customer information needed for each report, there are sev-
eral common fields. Most of the customer data fields are found in both reports. Table 1-1 shows only
some of the fields that are used in each report — those related to customer information. Because the
related row and the field names are the same, a database designer can make sure all the data items
are included in a customer table in the database. Table 1-2 lists the fields in a needed Invoice Report
that contains sales information.
