To create an offline cube, start with an OLAP-based PivotTable and follow these steps:
1. Position your cursor anywhere inside the PivotTable and, from the OLAP Tools drop-down
menu on the PivotTable Tools Analyze tab, select Offline OLAP.
2. From the Offline OLAP Settings dialog box, click the Create Offline Data File button.
3. In the Create Cube File Wizard, click Next.
4. Select the dimensions and levels you want included in your offline cube; see Figure 13-7.
Then click Next.
This is the data you want to import from the OLAP database. Select only the dimensions that
you need available to you while disconnected from the server.
The more dimensions you select, the more disk space your offline cube file takes up.
