Introduction
Objective of SEAMLESS Biophysical Typology
The reason to develop an Agri-Environmental Zonation (AEnZ) is to establish an
agri-environmental framework to be used in the ex-ante integrated assessment
framework developed in the SEAMLESS project (Van Ittersum et al. 2008) .
The framework is needed to assess the impacts of agricultural policies covering the
wide biophysical variation in which agricultural activities take place in Europe.
