Dining with Kids
Restaurants in the most touristy corners of the city are ready at a moment's notice to bust
out the highchairs and kiddy menus. In general, however, dining venues are small - eating
at popular joints sans reservation can often be more of a hassle with the little ones in tow.
Early dinners can alleviate some of the stress, as most locals tend to take to their tables
between 7:30pm and 9:30pm. In good weather, we recommend grabbing a blanket and
food from one of the city's excellent grocers, and heading to Central Park or one of the
many other green spaces for a picnic in the grass.
