Central Park
Vast and majestic, Central Park is 843 acres filled with pic-
turesque meadows, tranquil ponds and hidden architectural
treasures. The rolling green isn't simply the space of the is-
land that wasn't developed, it is - believe it or not - one of
the biggest architectural feats in the entire city. In fact, it
took over 20 years to convert the land from swamps and
farms into the beautiful retreat you see today.
