Whichever vacation you choose, you won't go hungry. Hegenbarth, who designs all the
menus, is famous for her fresh-baked cookies. You'll nosh on such delicacies as steaming
bowls of homemade soup, pork schnitzel with chipotle apple brandy sauce, bratwurst roasted
over the fire, pecan-stuffed pancakes, and her specialty: desserts such as cranberry bread pud-
ding, fudge pecan cake, and Danish cremes.
A four-night, three-day premier yurt trip (with each person driving his or her own sled)
is $1,395 per person (double occupancy) and includes all meals, lodging, guides, dogs, and
sleds. The five-night Beargrease Special is $1,545. Before you go, you'll be sent a detailed
clothing list for keeping warm.
