As for the groupies, some of them have taken as many as 40 tours with him. They've
been known to wear badges identifying themselves as the “Bearss Brigade.” Some wear T-
shirts depicting his face on Mount Rushmore or transposed onto Elvis's white jumpsuit. One
couple first met on one of his buses, got engaged, and then invited him to their wedding (he
went).
