20.5.1.1.1 GOME Data Knowledge Ontology and DC Profiles
The ACS-ESA team has developed in cooperation with the FORTH team a CIDOC-
Digital based ontology representing the Representation Information relationships
and dependencies which are stored on the Knowledge Manager module used for the
Testbed.
The Ontology is divided into two logic modules which are connected through the
“L1B
→
L1C processing” event:

The first module (Fig.
20.4
) links the processing event to the management of EO
products and it is used to retrieve the DC profile with the adequate knowledge on
the data he is searching;
