In-Depth Information
Traditional fast food on both sides of the island is the kebab or souvlaki, justifiably popu-
lar with locals. The meat is barbecued, stuffed into a pitta or rolled in a flat bread and ac-
companied by a large salad, dressed with lemon juice.
International Cuisine
There are plenty of restaurants here that specialise in international dishes. Aside from
from the standard gut-busting Brit-style breakfast (supposedly good for hangovers), they
can be good options for simple snacks like filled baked potatoes and toasted sandwiches.
