Greek) is a traditional celebration of Noah and his escape from the flood. Rather the oppos-
ite takes place, however, with good-humoured water fights and water-based activities in
Larnaka.

Güzelyurt Orange Festival
Running since 1977, this festival, which takes place at the end of the month, brims with
local food, drinks, song and dance, as well as various tournaments for junior Güzelyurtians.
This is one of the richest agricultural areas in North Cyprus.
