Kings Avenue Mall, Pafos
The largest shopping centre in Cyprus opened in November 2013 with close to 200 shops,
restaurants and cafes, plus a multi-screen cinema.
Budget accommodation, Kyrenia
Kyrenia now offers two dormitory options for budget travellers: both Cyprus Dorms and
Nostalgia hotel provide clean dorm accommodation for €12 per night.
New Marina on the Karpas Peninsula
Yenierenköy's multimillion-dollar Karpaz Gate Marina is now open for yachties who want
to berth in the Karpas.
Coastal Path, Pafos
A pretty, recently completed coastal path extends for some 5km around the headland from
Pafos Castle en route to Coral Bay.
Plateia Eleftherias, Nicosia (Lefkosia)
This famous square flanking Nicosia's historic Venetian walls is planned to encompass
walkways and a welcome green space right in the urban centre.
Craft Beer Brewery, Tsada
Craft beers have finally reached Cyprus with the opening of Aphrodite's Rock Brewery in
Tsada (Pafos) in 2013. You can taste samples of all their brews, as well as take a brewery
tour.
AG Leventis Gallery, Nicosia
This important new art museum includes paintings from Old Masters such as Murillo, El
Greco and Gainsborough, as well as Impressionist greats like Monet, Renoir and Sisley.
There is also a significant collection of works by Greek and Cypriot artists.
Cyprus Walking Festival
In 2014 the first annual Cyprus Walking Festival ( Click here ) ran from March to early
April. Organised by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, guided walks take place in the Pa-
