This atmospheric old mansion (with popular restaurant) dates back some 200 years and
was once home to a wealthy Pissourian. Located in the centre of the village, it has nine
basic rooms (fan only) with bags of simple country character that look out onto a central
courtyard perfumed by jasmine and honeysuckle.

APARTMENTS
These ultra-modern apartments, situated within walking distance of Governor's Beach,
have striking contemporary artwork and sleek minimalist style. Rentals usually have to be
booked for a minimum of three nights. Praxis is a Lemesos-based architectural and design
company that focuses on bioclimatic design. Consequently, the apartments are built with
recyclable materials, the energy is exclusively solar and irrigation is supplied by recycled
water.

Located on the main street in the village, this 200-year-old building has three apartments,
decorated in rustic traditional style with beamed rooms, wrought-iron furniture, lacy bed
covers, and outside tables under the olive trees. The top-storey apartment has distant sea
views. There's a minimum three-night stay.

BOUTIQUE HOTEL
A piece of rural-chic on the edge of Lofou village; Apokryfo means 'hidden away' in
Greek and it's certainly appropriate for this charming boutique hotel. Restored by architect
Vakis Hadjikyriacou and his interior-decorator wife, rooms effortlessly blend rustic char-
acter with modern luxury, utilising earthy colours, limed wood and local textiles. This is
one hideaway you won't want to leave.
Baby baths, cots and highchairs can be arranged. The hotel's Agrino restaurant is also
top notch.
