MINIBUS
There are dolmușes (minibuses) to Yenierenköy (Yiallousa; 7TL, one hour) and Dipkarpaz
(Rizokarpaso; 7TL, one hour) on the Karpas Peninsula at 1pm and 5pm Monday to
Saturday. They leave from just behind the İtimat bus station.
8 Getting Around
There are no public buses within the city as most major sights and services are within
walking distance.
Taxi stands are dotted around the central town. Kale Taksi ( GOOGLE MAP ; Liman Yolu ) and
Ada Taksi ( GOOGLE MAP ; İsmet İnönü Caddesi ) both operate in and around Famagusta as well
as further afield. Tariffs are generally fixed but check before accepting a ride.
A taxi to Salamis should cost 25TL one way.
