8 Getting There & Away
BUS
Famagusta is well connected with both North Nicosia and Kyrenia by bus.
From the İtimat bus station (İtimat Otogar; GOOGLE MAP ; % 366 6666; Onbeş Ağustos Caddesi ) ,
buses to North Nicosia (Lefkoşa; 8TL, one hour) leave half-hourly between 7am and
5.30pm.
Also from the bus station, buses to Kyrenia (Girne; 8TL, 1¼ hour) leave hourly at 20
minutes past the hour between 6.20am and 17.20am. The Girne-bound buses also stop at
the Goçmen Transport office 10 minutes later.
If you're coming from Kyrenia, the buses terminate at the Goçmen Transport office (
GOOGLE MAP ; % 366 4313; www.gocmentransport.com ; Gazi Mustafa Kemal Bulvarı) rather than at the bus
station.
