lighting. The small menu offers seafood and steaks, there's a decent wine list, and the ser-

If you like your meze don't miss Tervetuloa. It's a charmingly casual place with little pre-
tension that serves up some of the freshest, tastiest meze spreads in North Cyprus. Just off
the main coast road, it's about 10km west of Kyrenia.

If you're hankering for a taste of the subcontinent, Jashan's has everything from kormas
and chicken tikka to more authentic Punjabi meals. It's set back off the main road, approx-
imately 4km west of Kyrenia.

Possibly one of the best kebab houses in North Cyprus. Bring your appetite because the
full set-menu kebab blow-out of 10 meze and seven different chargrilled meats will satisfy
even the most hungry. Its on the main road, about 7km east of Kyrenia.

Drinking & Nightlife
The harbour area is where most travellers in Kyrenia congregate for a drink. The outdoor
tables spread across the waterfront are just the ticket for a coffee break or beer. If you're
looking for something less low key, some of the bigger beach resorts along the coast have
attached clubs. Most are quite cheesy. Single male travellers should be aware that they are
unlikely to gain entry to a nightclub unless they bring a female companion.
