Getting There & Around
A car is necessary to reach some of the sites in this region. While public buses (often col-
ourful and old-fashioned) connect most of the Mesaoria (Mesarya) villages with Nicosia,
they're basically scheduled to service workers and schoolchildren, not curious travellers,
and so will be of limited use.
