The sand is fine and the water is clear. Trees at the northern end provide shade.

Tiny Pernera beach is a curvy sliver of good, soft sand with shallow waters and a beach
restaurant. It's highly popular with families.
Agia Triada

This cute little beach with low water levels and coarse sand is an excellent boat-launching
site.
Skoutari
BEACH
An isolated cove encircled by a cliff with hard-packed sand and rocks. Ideal for snor-
kelling.

Under Sea Adventures
WATER SPORTS
At Under Sea Adventures kids eight years and up with a sense of adventure can choose
between 'shallow-water helmet diving' (adults €45, children eight to 16 €35) or 'riding on
a BOB' (Breathing Observation Bubble; 13 years and up €55). Both are a fun and safe
way to experience underwater life.
The undersea walks go down to 3m, where you can see rock formations and sea life
while your face remains completely dry inside your helmet.
