In-Depth Information

With modern decor like slated walls and concatenate doors, this place has an elegant feel
about it. The menu features fillet steaks with a range of accompanying sauces. The food is
expensive, but deservedly so. The umbrella courtyard is a very relaxing spot in summer.
Karousos Beach SEAFOOD
( MAP GOOGLE MAP ; Oktovriou 1; mains €22; h 10.30am-11pm)
Beautiful fresh-fish meze (try the ouzo mussels) and local wines are served on intimate
tables right on the sea's edge. The service is impeccable and personal.
Fiji INTERNATIONAL
( MAP GOOGLE MAP ; www.polynesian-ayianapa.com ; Leoforos Archiepiskopou Makariou III 23; mains €17-25;
h 6pm-midnight; v )
There's a bizarre Pacific islands theme here with banana trees, oversized flowers and
comfortable wicker furnishings. The food though - a kind of Asian-Polynesian-fusion - is
excellent. Try the mango beef or salmon teriyaki.
6 Drinking & Nightlife
It all begins in 'the Square' with bars and clubs abounding in every direction. The sight of
thousands upon thousands of tourists heaving together in this locale in the heat of a July
night is mind-boggling. Revellers drink and dance in the bars between 10pm and 2am.
Then it's time to hit the clubs, with a whole host to choose from. Most venues open after
1am and don't get full until 3am. A cover charge of €10 to €15 is normal - the best deals
are found from ticket sellers in the Square.
Macronissos Beach Club BAR
(Macronissos Beach; h noon-late)
Out of town (on the beach opposite Waterworld) Macronissos Beach Club is one of Agia
Napa's premier drinking spots which morphs from cruisy lounge-type bar-restaurant to
club as the night wears on. It's known for its weekly Ministry of Sound events, regular in-
ternational acts, and beach parties.
Golden Arrow BAR
( MAP GOOGLE MAP ; Leoforos Archiepiskopou Makariou III 21; h 9am-2.30am; W )
A stone's throw from the Square, this laid-back bar is super friendly and full of entertain-
ment. You can sit outdoors and watch the human traffic, pull up a spot at the bar, or watch
football on the big screens.
