8 Getting Around
TO/FROM THE AIRPORT
A taxi stand operates 24/7 at the arrivals gate of Larnaka airport. The 10-minute ride costs
approximately €15.
Alternatively local Zinonas buses 417, 419, 425 and 429 all make a stop at the airport
bus stop (a short walk from the arrivals hall) and return (some by a rather roundabout
route) to their central bus station near the marina. Tickets cost €1.50.
BUS
Larnaka's urban and regional bus network is run by Zinonas Buses ( GOOGLE MAP ; % 2466
5531; www.zinonasbuses.com ; Filiou Tsigaridi) whose central bus station is opposite Larnaka marina.
One-way tickets are €1.50 and all-day tickets are €5. Due to roundabout routes and irregu-
lar schedules, the bus network isn't used much by visitors. The website has route informa-
tion in English but no timetables. The helpful staff at the bus station can provide
timetables for you.
