Dive-In Larnaca DIVING

With the famed Zenobia wreck dive site only a three-minute boat ride away, there's no
better place to dive in Cyprus than Larnaka. This 5-star PADI dive centre has a whole
range of technical, recreational dive safaris and learn-to-dive courses.
Alpha Divers DIVING

This 5-star PADI centre offers all the PADI dive courses from beginner to advanced and
both technical and recreational dives to the Zenobia. The dive centre is 10km north of
central Larnaka along Dhekalia Road and opposite the large Lordos Beach Hotel complex.

These modern tricycles are powered by a friendly guide offering city-centre, arts-and-handicrafts and historical-
themed bicycle tours (the latter is possibly the best). Each tour takes in 20 to 30 stops, giving you the opportunity
to get out for a further look if you wish, and guides do their utmost to fill you with information.
Tours last about an hour and are a fun way to get to know the city. Cruisers depart from Plateia Evropis on the
Finikoudes.

Kataklysmos Festival RELIGIOUS
Held in June each year, 50 days after Orthodox Easter, this festival has special signific-
ance for Larnaka as a coastal town. Kataklysmos, meaning deluge or cataclysm in Greek,
is a traditional celebration of Noah and his salvation from the Flood.
During the day there are all kinds of fun water-based activities like windsurfing, kayak
races and swimming competitions.
At night the coastal promenade hosts open-air concerts and bazaar stalls selling
everything from corn on a stick to tacky trinkets.
