LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
REVITALISING PAFOS KTIMA
Plans are underway to treat Pafos Ktima to a subtle and aesthetic facelift. This neighbourhood has suffered from
recent economic woes with a worrying number of local shops closing their shutters for good and an influx of gen-
eric bargain-basement-style stores. The centre is due to be gradually pedestrianised from 2015 and and local artis-
ans and craftspeople will be encouraged to set up shop with cheaper rental rates and other incentives.
