A welcome addition to Lemesos' eating scene, Noodle House's menu fuses Singaporean,
Thai and Chinese favourites for a trip through Asia in Cyprus. If you like spicy - ask; they
tend to tame down the heat for the Cypriot palate. Sunday lunch is kids' time, with face-
painting and balloons.
Bono
INTERNATIONAL
We love the casual, friendly vibe of this place. Bono's owner spent several years in the
US, where he learned how to whip up cheesecake that is the best in town. The breakfasts,
burgers, quesadillas, salads and homemade soups are similarly a couple of notches above
the norm.
Meze Taverna
CYPRIOT
This sweet family-run tavern serves up traditional Greek dishes with straight-up home
cooking flair. If you're looking for somewhere cosy to munch on mousakka and meze this
is just the ticket; red-and-white checker tablecloths and all.
Ousia
MEDITERRANEAN
Fashionable arty decor and a menu that covers all the bases from classy burgers to Cypriot
staples with a modern twist. The cocktails veer on the potent side.
Il Castello
INTERNATIONAL
Don't be put off by the touristy look of this place. It's a local favourite for its huge salad
dishes and interesting sandwich and wrap combinations. For lunch after viewing the castle
it's a great choice.
