Sketch and Transfer
Using either the grid method or the basic shapes
method, create a sketch of the puppy with a 2B pencil on tracing paper.
Lightly transfer only the most necessary lines to the bristol board.
Alternatively, tape your sketch to a window with the light shining
through. Tape the bristol board over the top and use the Raw Umber pencil
to trace the lines that show through.
