Puppy
This is a German shepherd puppy's ear in profile. The “ear pocket” is vis-
ible. This is the flap of skin on the outer edge of the ear that makes a small
pocket. Your drawing will look more realistic if you include this (on anim-
als where it occurs) than if you make the edge a smooth curve.
