This is a three-quarter view of a kitten's eye. Notice the dark rim and the
shadow from the upper eyelid. Sometimes there is a highlight from mois-
ture in the tear duct.
Piglet Eyes
The eyes of a piglet appear almost human, both in shape and anatomy. They
have pronounced “whites,” and the pupils are quite round.

To draw the white eyelashes frequently seen on piglets, try scratching them
out with the tip of a craft knife. This technique is called “sgraffito.” There
is often a pronounced hairless rim around the eye as well.
