Some animals have short, dense coats, and others have long, flowing fur.
Some fur is coarse and wiry, while another animal might have smooth, silky
hair. And let's not forget baby birds with their soft, fluffy down.
The examples on this page show the differences between various types of
fur. They were drawn on vellum finish bristol board using 4H and 2B pen-
cils. Remember that your fur strokes should taper at the ends.
