In-Depth Information
Keep your ears open for any friends who end up with a litter of kittens.
They grow up really quickly, so don't waste time getting the photographs.
Make sure you spend time getting to know the mother cat first, though, be-
cause you don't want to distress her with a lot of unfamiliar activity around
her babies.
Wild Animals
Parks are a good place to get photos of wild animals like squirrels, deer,
chipmunks, etc. Animals in parks tend to be somewhat accustomed to hu-
man company, so they are less likely to be frightened. Still, it's a good idea
to have a zoom or telephoto lens so you can avoid getting too close for their
comfort.
